Ed Armstrong worked for Clarence Mackay and was responsible for Mackay's hunting trips and kennels. He worked at Harbor Hill, Gardiners Island (leased by Mackay from 1916 to 1936), Mackay's Deep River Lodge in North Carolina and made 47 hunt trips in Scotland with Mackay. The Armstrong Family Archives has made available to the Roslyn Landmark Society several relevant images from their amazing Collection.
