The Roslyn Landmark Society invites members and friends to join us on Tuesday, June 16th at 10:00 a.m. at the Mackay Estate Gate Lodge, at the intersection of Harbor Hill Road and Roslyn Road in East Hills, as we celebrate the completion of Phase One of the Gate Lodge restoration and the launch of Phase Two.
We're honored to be joined by East Hills Mayor Michael Koblenz, and by Daniel W. White, great-grandson of Stanford White, the architect who designed the Gate Lodge as the grand entrance to the Harbor Hill estate over 120 years ago. Having a member of the White family with us as we begin this next chapter is a meaningful moment in the building's long history, and we'd love for our community to be part of it. The event is open to the public, so come see the restored windows and doors up close, and hear what's ahead for this remarkable building.
