165 Willow Street
165 Willow Street, Roslyn Heights
Resting on a large lot in the Roslyn Heights neighborhood, this gracious two-and-a-half storied home is a combination of Victorian and Colonial Revival architecture. Colonial Revival houses often combined elements of different architectural styles. The cross-gable roof and the bay window on the first floor illustrate the continued popularity of Victorian architecture in the early 20th century, when the house was built.
The classical columns supporting the roof of the wide and inviting front porch and the small Palladian window in the upper gable are elements of the Colonial Revival style. The interior is beautifully decorated and features many original elements such as the staircase, door, hardware and wooden floors.

the home looks beautiful
Great edition! I wish the photo was from the summer. I will have to provide you with a better one. I hope we go back to the full House Tour we had in the past; that was a wonderful highlight of the Landmark Society. Thank you.
