These two clapboard buildings were part of an early plan to fill this section of Silver Lake for five properties. Three of the buildings were built from 1870 to 1880.
From 1880 to the early 1900's, 1374 Old Northern Boulevard was carpentry shop for Stephen Speedling who help restore the Roslyn Grist Mill in 1916 to 1917.
1376 Old Northern Boulevard has been the home for Jill Scherer LTD since 1993.
