Gatsby's Landing
1362 Old Northern Boulevard, Roslyn
1354, 1358 and 1362 Old Northern Boulevard were originally two buildings built by Bertram X. Sussel . 1354 Old Northern Boulevard was built by Sussel as a meat market and grocery store Bert Sussel Market . This one-story commercial building with cinderblock construction, was originally faced with black opaque glass tiles.
The building was restored in 1970 by architect Guy Frost with a false pent-roof front, late 1800s-style cornice, facade of vertical cedar sheathing and divided into three stores.
1354 Old Northern Boulevard is currently the home of Delicacies Deli. 1362 Old Northern Boulevard is the home of the Gatsby's Landing restaurant.
