Roslyn Estates Village Hall was built in 1972 during the administration of Mayor Robert Zucker on land which was given to the Village of Roslyn Estates by Saul Sokolov, Inc., which was the firm that developed that section of the village. Designed by engineer John A. Grammas, the plans were approved by Roslyn Estates’ building inspector on December 20, 1971. The construction Roslyn Estates Village Hall was financed through a $90,000 (1971 USD) bond issue.

In addition to housing the village’s government, Roslyn Estates Village Hall also contains a garage to house the village maintenance vehicles.

Roslyn Estates Village Hall received renovations at the turn of the 21st Century, using plans drawn by Michael J. Palladino, Inc.

During the 2006 Roslyn Landmark Society House Tour, Village Hall featured a gallery on the history of Roslyn Estates, which included several historical and modern photographs of homes in “the Estates.”

The erection of Roslyn Estates’ village hall enabled the village to conduct village business more efficiently, and before the Village of Roslyn Estates erected this purpose-built village hall, the officials in Roslyn Estates used an office at 1042A Northern Boulevard for several years.
