On Saturday, May 5, 1973 the Roslyn Landmark Society hosted, "A Day-Long Program on Community Preservation in Roslyn, N.Y.." The conference was in celebration of Historic Preservation Week and was supported by the New York Sate Council on the Arts.
Held at the Bryant Library, presentations and events included:
- "A brief Architectural History of Roslyn" by Roy Moger
- Lunch at the Roslyn Grist Mill
- "The Background of Historical Preservation in Roslyn" by Roger Gerry
