On May 10, 2025, the 1937 Chrysler's Chrysler, part of Howard & Roz Kroplick's classic car collection made a rare appearance at the Nassau County Museum of Art’s Deco Party. The event was held at NCMA's sister Gold Coast estate, the de Seversky Mansion, built during the height of the Deco era by the Dupont family.
While the party may be over, Roslyn's celebration of Art Deco continues. Be sure to visit the museum's newest exhibition, Deco at 100, before it closes on June 15.
CBS News Sunday Morning also recently featured the Deco at 100 exhibition in a recent segment of CBS News Sunday Morning. You can view the video, featuring Franklin Hill Perrell, former Executive Director of the Roslyn Landmark Society and chief curator of the exhibit, by clicking here.
Also stay tuned for upcoming announcements about the Roslyn Landmark Society's 2025 VIP Historic House Tour at NCMA's Frick "Clayton" Estate on September 27, 2025.
