Our friends at the Friends of Cedarmere are throwing a birthday party for William Cullen Bryant, the poet and editor who made Cedarmere his home for more than three decades, and everyone is invited! The afternoon begins on November 1st, from 2-5, with poems written at Cedarmere and read by local poets, followed by cake and a reception on the grounds of the estate overlooking the pond. Guests can also watch demonstrations in the mill and tour the sculpture studio of Frances Bryant Godwin, which she kept inside it.
