Exciting things are happening at the Roslyn Grist Mill! On Tuesday, July 8, Legislator Samantha Goetz visited the historic site to meet with members of Roslyn Landmark Society's Board of Trustees and staff to learn about our efforts to restore this historic landmark. Goetz currently represents District 18 in Nassau County and beginning in January 2026, she will also be representing the Village of Roslyn. Co-president Howard Kroplick, who has been involved in the restoration since construction first began in 2018, provided an incredibly informative history and tour of the site to the group.
We thank Legislator Goetz and staff for visiting the Roslyn Grist Mill and we are looking forward to collaborating in the future as we continue the historic preservation of this significant Long Island historic site.
You can watch the video of Legislator Goetz 's visit, created by former television producer and Roslyn Landmark Society Board trustee, Rosanna Wolff, here.
