In 1969 reporter W. Oakley Cagney wrote a series "Long Island Long Ago" describing his favorite historic sites. The April 27, 1969 article featured the Roslyn Grist Mill when it was still operating as a tea house.

Bob, the dress is still there! Howard
Great article--very useful in several ways. I'll mention only its description of the contents of it as a museum. There is an old dress on the third floor of 36 Main. I hope it still there--after about ten years--my wife, an expert in antique textiles--loved it and at that time had the staff to restore it.
