We are saddened to report that former Roslyn Landmark Society President, Cecil Tinder, has passed away at the age of 96. Cecil and his wife Anne were dedicated supporters of the Society for many years. Anne is also the former Executive Director for the organization, serving until her retirement in 2018.
Cecil was born in 1927 and raised in Richmond, Virginia. After graduating from Vanderbilt University with a Masters in School Administration, he began working in the Port Washington school district until his retirement.

12PM - 5PM: The Amsterdam at Harborside (Card Room) at 300 E. Overlook, Port Washington, NY.
