On Monday, October 7, Professor Kevin Wolfe and six students from Pratt Institute studying historic preservation visited the Roslyn Grist Mill to tour the historic site and learn more about the restoration efforts currently underway.
Roslyn Landmark Society's co-president, Howard Kroplick, and construction site supervisor, Don Krug, discussed the history of the Roslyn Grist Mill project, progress of the restoration to date, and future plans with the students during their tour of the site.
This was the fourth Pratt class to visit the Roslyn Grist Mill site since 2019 and the Roslyn Landmark Society looks forward to welcoming Professor Wolfe and his students back again next year!

This is just wonderful that the students had a first hand experience of visiting and viewing this incredible structure. Looking at photographs, images on a two dimensional format is the way things usually take place - having the experience of actually seeing something that is "real" in person will be the impression the students will always have the rest of their lives. It is like doing art and viewing it in a museum - you become part of the experience if you are there.
