Nine students and their teacher Kevin Wolfe from the Pratt Institute conducted a site visit to the Roslyn Grist Mill construction site on Monday. The students are enrolled in Pratt's Adaptations and Alterations of Historic Landmarks class, where they study the complex issues and challenges of changing historic structures within a historic district.
The students discussed the restoration project and future plans with Roslyn Landmark Society's executive director Jennifer Lister, Co-President Howard Kroplick and construction site supervisor Don Krug.
This is the third Pratt class to visit the Roslyn Grist Mill site since 2019.
