This week, the Roslyn Grist Mill met an important milestone in the roof restoration . Crews were back onsite to install the trim and weatherboards in preparation for the new shingle roof. The roofing will be made of red cedar shingles, historically aligned with what would have been mounted on the Grist Mill during its construction.
This is an exciting phase in the restoration and marks a chapter in the Roslyn Grist Mill's preservation progress that will be more visible to the public.
The roof installation will be completed within the coming weeks, with the siding on track to be installed in Spring of next year.
