A collector of Roslyn artifacts has loaned this unique medicine box to the Roslyn Landmark Society. It was labelled "Medicine box given to William Hicks by William Cullen Bryant, circa 1845."
The wooden box with lid (2 1/2" Height x 7" Wide x 4" Depth) contained 28 small glass vials filled with homeopathic remedies. Each vial was labeled with its cork numbered.
