In December 2023, the Roslyn Landmark Society secured $500,000 from the Save America’s Treasures grant program, through the Historic Preservation Fund, as administered by the National Park Service, Department of Interior for Phase 2 of the Roslyn Grist Mill restoration.
This new sign prominently displays Save America's significant support of the Roslyn Grist Mill Restoration project. Additionally, Congressman Tom Suozzi is proudly recognized for initiating the grant. Back in 2022, Congressman Suozzi ensured the Roslyn Grist Mill was one of the 15 community-funded 2023 projects he submitted.
The Roslyn Landmark Society is seeking additional funding to complete the restoration of the Roslyn Grist Mill. Interested donors are encouraged to visit RoslynLandmarks.org or contact the organization directly for more information on preserving this historic structure.
