Timber framers returned to Roslyn this week to cut the 30 restored and new columns to the proper size for the Roslyn Grist Mill. The columns will installed in the structure in the Spring and will support the entire building. When installed, the temporary wood girders and steel beams will be removed and the building will be lowered to its new foundation.
In addition, the scaffolding surrounding the site has been removed and a new support wall has been built to facilitate the installation.
