Timber framers and our construction crew returned to the Roslyn Grist Mill this week and completed installation of timber frame and began work on the roof rafters.
Bent 15 (the tie beam and columns facing Old Northern Boulevard) and wall studs have been installed completing the timber frame.
Sill plates for the rafter were installed on both the east and west sides of the building.
A test rafter has been installed indicating the new height of the building. It is the first time in over 100 years that the two stories of the Roslyn Grist Mill are at street level.
