Representatives of the Roslyn Landmark Society met yesterday with Elaine Phillips, Nassau County Comptroller, to share updates on the ongoing restoration of the Roslyn Grist Mill. Co-President Howard Kroplick, Project Director Jennifer Lister, and Deputy Administrator Kaitlin Handler were joined by the Comptroller’s Chief Counsel Charles Casolaro and Nassau County Archivist Gary Haglich for a productive discussion about the project’s progress and next steps. The group also had the opportunity to tour archival materials related to the history of Nassau County, underscoring the shared commitment between the Society and Nassau County to preserving this important piece of local history.
