Thank you to Mayor Michael Koblenz and Deputy Mayor Brian Myerson of the Village of East Hills for inviting the Roslyn Landmark Society's Board and staff to attend the Village of East Hills Spectacular Fireworks Show on July 3. The Landmark Society is partnering with the Village of East Hills to restore the Mackay Estate Gate Lodge and adapt it into a local history education center for the community.
During the event, we were able to introduce residents to the Roslyn Landmark Society's historic preservation efforts throughout the community and create awareness about the Mackay Estate Gate Lodge restoration project and Founders Club program.
