The Village of Roslyn has created a second pedestrian crosswalk on Old Northern Boulevard at the intersection of Lumber Road.
According to New York State law, pedestrians have the right of way at the marked crosswalk. Drivers must yield, slowing or stopping, to allow pedestrians to cross.
The penalty for not obeying the law is as follows:
