The Roslyn Landmark Society extends its sincere gratitude to Jaime Karbowiak for her service as Executive Director. During her tenure, Jaime brought energy, professionalism, and vision to the organization, advancing community engagement and supporting major restoration projects such as the Roslyn Grist Mill and the Mackay Estate Gate Lodge. Jaime is departing the Roslyn Landmark Society to complete her Ph.D. in History at St. John’s University. We thank her for her leadership, dedication, and many contributions to our preservation efforts.
Jennifer Lister continues in her role as Project Director, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Roslyn Landmark Society. Jennifer has served the organization for over ten years. During that time, she has helped contribute the Society’s growth and has played a leading role in major restoration efforts, including the Roslyn Grist Mill and Mackay Estate Gate Lodge projects.
The Society is also pleased to announce that Kaitlin Handler has been named Program Manager, a new role that will help facilitate the organization’s administrative, membership, and events-based projects. Kaitlin brings a strong background in creative operations and project management and will support the Society’s efforts to enhance communication, organization, and community engagement.
In addition, Michelle Donofrio has joined the Roslyn Landmark Society as Accountant. Michelle brings over 20 years of accounting and finance experience to the organization, where she will oversee financial operations and ensure sound fiscal management to support the Society’s preservation and programming goals.
These staff additions reflect the Society’s ongoing commitment to building a strong and dedicated team to advance its mission of preservation, education, and community connection.
