Thank you all for making Saturday's "Roslyn Scavenger Hunt" a success!
Nearly 100 friends and families came out on a beautiful day to learn about Roslyn's history, search for clues, and solve riddles.
Teams were adventurous and intelligent. Out of all the correct entries, one winner was selected to win the Nintendo Switch. Congratulations to the Milner Family! Stryden Milner (along with his brother Sutton), completed all of the riddles and correctly answered that it was "George Washington" who visited Roslyn in 1790.
Roslyn resident Pam Danbusky commented: "It was a really fantastic day for the village! We had a blast being there, and we could tell everybody else did too. Thank you for being an amazing group of people who help make our village even better and more beautiful than it already is. So many people were inspired and educated and entertained today. Great teamwork all around." Andy Dimakopoulos said: "This was so much fun! Thank you for doing it." Scott Milner added: "I appreciate all you and the Roslyn Landmark Society team do to help our town hold on to a piece of its history. The kids had an amazing time."
Thank you once again to all who participated and we hope to see you again soon.
This program was made possible by the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation who sponsored student coordinator Rylie Danbusky. The Nintendo Switch prize was generously provided by The Grit Ninja Roslyn.
