A performance of Romeo & Juliet was enjoyed by over 50 people yesterday at Gerry Park hosted by the North of North Hempstead. Kudos to the Long Island-based Eastline Theater!

Town to Host Free Romeo & Juliet Performances for Residents

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board will be partnering with Eastline Theatre this summer to host FREE theatrical performances of William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet.

“We are excited to offer these live theatrical performances for our residents at various Town parks," said Supervisor Bosworth. "The shows will certainly serve as a fun night out for family and friends, and we are grateful to Eastline Theater for bringing Romeo & Juliet to North Hempstead.”

Performances will include:
Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Gerry Pond Park (rain date: Sunday, June 27)

Friday July 16, 2021 at 7 p.m. at North Hempstead Beach Park (Amphitheater) (rain date: Friday, July 23)

Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Clark Botanic Garden (no rain date)

Attendees are asked to wear a mask and social distancing rules will be in effect.
