Bookkeeper: Part-Time Job Description
The Roslyn Landmark Society is seeking a bookkeeper possessing knowledge of non-profit financial management, preferably with construction project and grant funding experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks accounting software is essential, along with a sharp eye for detail and unwavering accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are desired to collaborate effectively with our team, project director, and board of trustees.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Report directly to the Executive Director of the Roslyn Landmark Society
- Oversee all financial operations, including payroll
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Generate financial reports and statements
- Maintain donor and sponsorship financial records
- Assist in granting applications on an accounting level
- Manage cash flow and reconcile accounts
- Aid in preparation for 990 and annual audit
- Update and maintain Financial Analysis Ledgers, Payment Reports, and Balance Sheets
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of three years of bookkeeping and/or accounting experience
- A proactive approach to problem solving and task management
- Must have expertise in Microsoft Excel & QuickBooks Online

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, based upon experience
Part-Time: 8–10 hours per week (flexible schedule)
