Shaw's of Roslyn (Roslyn Pharmacy)
1314 Old Northern Boulevard, Roslyn
This one-story store was built around 1901 with a half-timbered, slate roof. In seen in the below photo, before 1966 half of the building was Shaw's of Roslyn clothing store.
In 1966, the store was expanded to include the current footprint and became Swan's of Roslyn, possibly because of new ownership. The logo on the exterior of the building was simply changed from Shaw's to Swan's by moving the "w" and cutting the "h" to make it an "n".
From 2009 to 2021, the building was the home of the Roslyn Pharmacy. On November 1, 2023, the Roslyn Pharmacy reopened.
