Debra, the tour costs $20 in advance and $30 on the day of the tour. Let's hope that we will be able to do a tour in 2021.

Greg, great info, I was unaware. The path leading to the water tower still has a horse/pillar ornament mounted at its entrance, and the Dairy Man’s cottage sits at an amazing 3/4 miles away from the mansion!
Looking back at the current view of the Roslyn site, Mackay mansion was four times larger than the biggest house in the area today! He was only 28 years of age when he built the house on the hill. Sadly, there is no evidence at all today of the former estate. It’s been completely wiped off the map. THANK YOU Howard for saving those Mackay horses!
Roz and I voted today at the Roslyn Community Center. About 50 people were on line in a light rain at 5:45 pm. The line moved very quickly and we voted in around 30 minutes. It felt great to vote this year! Howard Kroplick
You do not need to be registered at the location. Any resident can go to any of the polling places. You just give your name, sign an iPad and a ballot is printed out. Howard Kroplick

What I would do to see the original Mackay Estate!!! I grew up on Cedar Dr. , around the corner from the Dairyman Cottage in Country Estates. The only remains of the estate add so much history and CLASS to Roslyn. The Melby Lane house is breathtaking and NEEDS to remain there. There are enough homes now crammed into that part of Nob Hill, that house gives Roslyn, and all who have lived there, a magical look into what was once part of the Mackay Estate. The gate house owners should be ashamed that it is just wasting away, the property has been owned for years now and NOTHING. Keep the history ALIVE!!!

Great map, trying to figure out how and why there’s a massive e wall in my side yard between ash and Peach, but doesn’t appear in any of these maps
