The Great Neck Historical Society invites you to virtually attend its January 2022 Program, The Saddle Rock Grist Mill, Past & Future, on Tuesday, January 18th at 7:30 p.m.

On January 18, 2022, the Great Neck Historical Society will present a zoom program on the history of the Saddle Rock Grist Mill, one of the few remaining tidal grist mills in the country. It was given to Nassau County in 1955.

Former President of the Great Neck Historical Society, Alice Kasten will discuss its colorful history and importance. Howard Kroplick, President of the Roslyn Landmark Society, which is deep into the process of restoring the Roslyn Grist Mill, will talk about what it takes to restore a grist mill and will give us practical advice about how to advocate for its restoration effectively. It promises to be an informative and valuable evening!

We do not want to see another historic site devolve into shambles and be too far gone to restore. Mark your calendar for January 18!

Free and Open to the Community! RSVP Required Register here by January 17th: https://bit.ly/SaddleRockGristMill
