This lovely Colonial Revival home was designed by noted Long Island architect Walter Uhl and was completed circa 1938. Uhl was the builder of Flower Hill Estates in Manhasset and Long Island developments in Plandome, Great Neck, Port Washington, Jericho, Muttontown and Syosset. In the 1970s, he began developing Country Club Estates and Fairway Farms in Cutchogue. Exceptional detailing was a hallmark of Uhl's designs - which are often referred to as elegant and romantic - and this house is no exception with a beautiful staircase banister and gently curving paneled walls in the den. One of the closets behind the paneling served as a telephone closet, a necessity in every pre World War II house!
In 1993, the present owners added a seamless and sympathetic addition containing a master suite and in 1998 they added the present kitchen.
