This Greek Revival house stood on the east side of East Broadway at the intersection of Old Northern Boulevard.
The house was most likely built for Rev. Charles Ruggles Strong (1844-1928). For a brief time, Rev. Strong served as a pastor for the nearly Roslyn Presbyterian Church, located less than 100 yards away at 33 East Broadway. After Strong's ownership, the property was acquired by the Wright family.
Now a village parking lot, it is remembered by most Roslyn residents as the site of a Mobil Service Station.

Current view of the property's location. It is now parking lot after previously serving as a Mobil Service Station.
John Collins believes the house stood 120 feet from the street, placing it at the top of the present retaining wall.
