This one-story cinderblock building was built in 1951 as a retail store. It is currently the home of Roslyn Wine & Liquor, a proud 2022 supporter of the Roslyn Landmark Society.
As seen in this 1908 photo, this southern section of the Roslyn was still part of Silver Lake. All the buildings west of the current the 1388 Old Northern Boulevard building did not exist. Around 1918, landfill was used to establish these properties west to the village parking lot.
Through the 1970s, the building housed Roslyn Laundromat. June 22, 1970 photo by Ray Jacobs and 2021 photo by Howard Kroplick.
