Ongoing online membership survey indicates high satisfaction levels with the Roslyn Landmark Society

In an effort to better serve the community, the Roslyn Landmark Society is currently conducting an online two-minute survey of its membership.

Recent results indicate high satisfaction levels with the Roslyn Landmark Society. Seventeen respondents rating satisfaction from 5 (Completely Satisfied) to 1 (Not Satisfied) gave the organization an average score of 4.7 with 96% giving the highest ratings of 5 or 4.

Here are some of the comments from the survey:

  • Being a member of several societies, I can say that Roslyn is clearly the most communicative. This is a excellent distinction. The newsletter and even this survey are excellent devices to keep the membership engaged.
  • I think you are doing a great job.
  • Keep up your fine work. It is seen by many, but most will never compliment you or realize how important what you do is. That doesn't mean people do not care, just that they do not often think to express their appreciation. I know this as a fact as I have been the appointed historian for my village since 1999, wrote a book on my village and stated the local historical society and museum, and attended many NY State meetings about history preservation. I am also involved heavily for over 50 years in the recording and preservation of automotive history and been recognized nationally for this. It is not the fame, nor the glory one receives for one's contributions and efforts but the personal satisfaction of knowing you had a small part in keeping the memory alive for future generations to know about and appreciate.
  • Kudos to Howard Kroplick for his amazing work and dedication...extraordinary organization.
  • Thank you for the current information you send to us! We appreciate all that you do!
  • I lived in Roslyn for 22 years, then retired to South Carolina in 2016. The Landmark Society had been very special to me, in its efforts of maintaining awareness of Roslyn's past, and actively preserving the buildings and such that remind residents and visitors of Roslyn's place in the history of New York, and our country.
  • I enjoy keeping updated on how the Society continues work on the Grist Mill, and its many other interests.

The survey is still ongoing. We look forward to receiving your feedback and suggestions!
