Our third Monday Mystery Foto was a Roslyn inn, cafe and restaurant that served meals "at all hours."

The Harbor Hill Inn was located at 1432 Old Northern Boulevard at the northeast corner of Remsen Avenue. The photographer was looking north towards Bryant Avenue.
- Prior to 1914, what was the name of the hotel?
The hotel was called the Mansion House prior to 1914. It was renamed for Clarence Mackay's estate and the hill to its east.
- What notable meetings were held at this location?
Prior to the building of the Town Hall in Manhasset in 1907, the Mansion House was one of the sites for Board meetings for the Town of North Hempstead.
The Mansion House was also the headquarters for the Mercedes "X" team participating in the 1906 Vanderbilt Cup Race.

This used to be called the Mansion House. It was on Skillman Street. I believe the photographer was facing north. Not sure about the meetings.
The location is 1432 Old Northern Blvd at the corner of Remsen Ave., looking north. Built in 1860, The Mansion House stood for 54 years and became Harbor Hill Inn in 1914. Demolished in the 1920s to make way for the Roslyn National Bank and Trust Company.

In 1905, The Mansion House was the headquarters for the Mercedes X racing team at the Vanderbilt Cup Race of that year.
