Soon after the beginning of World War II, a Roslyn Roll of Honor was built at the Roslyn Clock Tower to honor those Roslyn residents who were serving in the military.

Among those on the list was John Juliski who lived on West Shore Road and worked for McCormack Sand. Stella Juliski can be seen here in 1942 pointing to her husband's name on the Roll of Honor. Both photos are courtesy of John Juliski, Jr.
