Given the special requirements to store the COVID-19 vaccines, many hospitals may not be vaccination sites. Currently, there is not indication that St. Francis Hospital will be one of the sites. https://stfrancisheartcenter.chsli.org/
I clearly remember bringing our dog to Dr. Dohm in the mid-late 1960s. He always wore his lab coat with "Dr. Dohm" sewn over the left pocket in a stylish script typeface along with his bushy mustache and tortoise shell glasses. The office had a row of ferns (visible in the exterior images above) and had the odor of age and a bit of neglect. Dr. Dohm also had a row of apothecary jars that contained dog fetuses from inception to near full growth in Formaldehyde. It was a bit scary, but at the same time you couldn't avert your gaze. I remember the car, it was a source of tremendous pride for him. He was a "salty" man but we loved him.
I'm waiting patiently for the covid vaccine but have been unable to get an appointment I'm 72 have had lymphoma twice have hypertension and a fib. I live in Queens but can travel my primary doctor and cardiologist belong to St Francis hospital can you helped.Thanks.

I am happy to find this info on vaccinations at local hospitals on Long Island. I have heart and asthma issues as well as past reactions to shots, therefore only want to get the vaccination at a hospital where I trust they can monitor me after the vaccine. Hope to hear vaccines coming in more and more.
Because of an email I received from the Roslyn Landmark Society, I was able to get an appointment at Stony Brook. I want to send a heartfelt thank you. Thanks, Howard, Casey DeNicola
Bob, it could have been much worse. Since the Village of East Hill does not have any landmarking laws, the property owner had the option to knock down the entire building.
Howard--
Thank you so much for doing this. I have tried repeatedly but i will keep trying. This is a wonderful thing you are doing and it is much appreciated.

Great photos of many unknown to me remaining parts of the Mackay estate. I visited the Dairyman's cottage when it was for sale about 5 or so years ago. The recent photo posted here looks like it is in the process of being renovated. In this state it is unrecognizable, not the house I saw then .
