Would this have been called Roslyn Villas back in the 1860s? I will look around on the page, but my ancestors, the Craig family, including Mary Craig, Gavin Craig and their son Gavin Ralston Craig were living at Rosalyn Villas in Belfast according to some of the documents I found.

IN this era of instant everything at the touch of a button , it is indeed just so wonderful to see craftsmanship , and skill of handwork still exists . Current and modern ways to accomplish anything and everything often overshadows the skill that has been past down for gener4ations of skilled hand labor . Not everything can be accomplished by looking at an electronic screen that despite a lot of claims does not have all the answers . To restore something to the way it was originally takes deep thought and research. This is true for structures like houses, buildings, grist mills and for things mechanical like boats , airplanes and vehicles ( had to throw that in there as Howard and I both preserve and restore old cars!). My Sincerest Thanks to all the leaders of the Roslyn Landmark Society for their on going efforts and patience to do this for all the future generations to come. It is all of our heritage at its finest hour.
My grand-uncle was Dr. Louis S. Bardoly, who purchased the property and established the hospital. I would be grateful for similar photos of my grand uncle? Thank you very much.
