Important historical information. It appears that the current sales information may not be wholly accurate. For example, was it actually put on the National Historic Record or its association with William Cullen Bryant is later if it was built in 1830 as he didn't move to Cedarmere until 1843.
Great moment is recorded here in the movement towards the restoration of The Roslyn Grist Mill. Congressman Suozzi is truly missed as our representative in Congress.

Wonderful news to read and a great way to start off the New Year , with outstanding positive news about preservation on long island. My sincere thanks to the Roslyn Landmark Society for all their efforts for so many years , and especially to my good friend Howard Kroplick .

Thank you for this presentation and preservation.
Ernest P. Davies was uncle to my father, Richard Davies deBronkart. I am his Junior; my nickname "Dave" is from my middle name Davies.
Just for the record, the home was sometimes known as Clovercroft, and was not William Cullen Bryant's home (although he owned it), but the home of his daughter Frances (Fanny) and her husband Parke Godwin and their family.
Another amazing feat, congratulations Howard and the society, and thanks to Tom Suozzi, Bruce Blakeman and Mayor Durkin for facilitating this funding. Onward!
